🎉 We’re thrilled to share that second-year fellow, Dr. Chiraag Gupta, under the mentorship of our Pharmacy faculty, Dr. Curt Collins, with co-authors: Dr. Holly Murphy and Dr. Jennifer Chou (Department of Pharmacy Services, Trinity Health Livonia) had his abstract titled “Pharmacist-driven Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus Nasal Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Screening in Multi-hospital System Reduced Resistant Gram-positive Antibiotics Use and Standardized Antimicrobial Administration Ratio (SAAR)” , officially accepted for presentation at IDWeek 2025 , taking place October 19–22 in Atlanta, GA! Dr. Gupta has also been honored with an IDWeek Abstract Travel Award , a competitive recognition that supports outstanding research and helps offset travel expenses for in-person attendance.
